I-10 resurfacing and widening project between Lane Avenue and Halsema Road

I-10 westbound between Lane Avenue and the Cecil Commerce Center Parkway (SR 23) and the I-10 westbound ramps at I-295, Marietta and Chaffee Road WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED from 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 until approximately noon on Sunday, June 12. Detour signs will be posted.  One westbound lane on I-10 will be closed on Sunday, June 12 from noon until approximately 6:30 p.m. The ramp from I-295 northbound to I-10 westbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED on the night of Friday, June 10 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Detour signs will be posted. The on and off ramps for I-10 eastbound traffic to Chaffee Road WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the nights of Tuesday, June 14 and Wednesday, June 15. Detour signs will be posted. Single eastbound lanes will be closed between 6:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. and westbound lanes may be closed between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, June 12 to Friday, June 17. This project is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2012.

 

I-10 pavement improvement project between Stockton Street and Lane Avenue

Eastbound lanes within the project limits will be closed nightly between 6:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. from Sunday, June 12 through Thursday, June 16.  This project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2012.

I-10 just east of US 301

One westbound lane will be closed on Sunday, June 12 from noon to 3 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.

 

I-95 near the Philips Highway (U.S. 1) exit to the Avenues Mall

Various lanes will be closed nightly between 8:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, June 12 through Friday, June 17 for routine bridge maintenance.

 

I-95 at Golfair Boulevard

Various lanes will be closed nightly in both directions between 8:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday evening, June 12 through Friday morning, June 17 for routine bridge maintenance.

 

I-95 pavement and highway improvement project between Atlantic Boulevard and J. Turner Butler Boulevard

No lane closings are scheduled for next week.  This project should be finished by early 2013.

 

I-95 one mile south of CR 207 (St. Johns County)

Single southbound lanes will be closed nightly between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 12 and Monday, June 13 for roadway maintenance.

 

I-95 northbound ramp to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway eastbound

The ramp WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED and one eastbound lane on the Martin Luther King, Jr., Parkway will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, June 24 until Monday, June 27 for roadway maintenance. Detour signs will be posted.

 

I-295/Collins Road interchange construction project

No lane closings are scheduled next week. The project should be finished in early 2013.

 

I-295 guardrail construction from Pritchard Road to US 1

Single lanes will be closed nightly in both directions at various locations within the project limits from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Sunday evening, June 12 through Friday morning, June 17. This project should be finished in late August.

 

South Main Street over Prudential Drive

One southbound lane will be closed on Sunday, June 12 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.

 

Main Street Bridge

Various lanes will be closed in both directions on Sunday, June 12 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.   

 

Hart Bridge Expressway (SR 228) near Art Museum Drive

Single lanes will be closed in both directions nightly between 8:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, June 12 through Friday, June 17 for routine bridge maintenance.

 

Dames Point Bridge maintenance project

Two southbound lanes and two northbound lanes on the bridge will be closed intermittently between 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. from Sunday, June 12 through Friday, June 17. One southbound and one northbound lane will be closed permanently for construction activities until approximately late fall. This work should be finished in late 2011.

SR 9A over Alden Road

Various lanes will be closed nightly in both directions between 8:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, June 12 through Friday, June 17 for routine bridge maintenance.

 

SR 9A south of Baymeadows Road

SR 9A northbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED on the night of Tuesday, June 14 between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Detour signs will be posted. Single lanes in each direction will be closed nightly from Sunday, June 13 through Thursday, June16 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for construction of the new SR 9B segment. Nightly lane closings on SR 9A are expected to continue through the fall. The new SR 9B section should open in the fall of 2012.

 

Ortega River Bridge on SR 211 rehabilitation project

No lane closings are scheduled next week. This project will be finished in the late fall of 2011.

 

Beach Boulevard widening project between Hodges Boulevard and San Pablo Road

Single lanes will be closed in both directions nightly between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Friday, June 10 through Thursday, June 16. This project should be finished in the late summer of 2011.

SR A1A in Jacksonville Beach from Beach Boulevard to 9th Avenue North

Lanes will be closed nightly between 7 p.m. and 6:30 from Tuesday, June 14 through Friday, June 17 for roadway maintenance.

 

San Jose Boulevard traffic signal repair project between Sunbeam Road and Crown Point Road

Lanes will be closed in both directions daily between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Monday, June 13 through Friday, June 17. Lanes will be closed between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. on the nights of Wednesday, June 15 and Thursday, June 16. The project should be finished this summer.

Southside Boulevard signal repair project near Royal Lakes Drive

Lanes will be closed between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. on the nights of Wednesday, June 15 and Thursday, June 16. The project should be finished this summer.

 

Normandy Boulevard pavement repairs from Pine Street to west of the Jacksonville Equestrian Center

Lanes will be closed nightly at various locations within the project limits between 8 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. from Sunday, June 12 through Thursday, June 16. Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers. This project will be finished in the summer of 2012.

 

 

 

103rd Street at Ricker Road

One eastbound lane will be closed continuously through approximately 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 16 for utility work. 

 

US 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) pavement repairs from Woodmere Street to the end of the I-10 ramp

Northbound lanes on US 17 near Park Street and the Blanding Boulevard overpass will be closed nightly (Monday through Friday) between 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. and daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. northbound and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. southbound. This project will be finished in the spring of 2012.

San Juan Avenue bridge and resurfacing project from Cassat Avenue to Lane Avenue

Two lanes in both directions are closed on the bridge over Cedar Creek. There are periodic eastbound lane closings on both sides of the bridge. The project will be finished this fall.

 

Cassat Avenue at San Juan Avenue

One southbound lane will be closed at various times (Monday through Friday) through Friday, June 17 for utility work.

 

Lem Turner Road (SR 115) over the Ribault River

One northbound lane will be closed daily between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Sunday, June 12 through Thursday, June 16 for routine bridge maintenance.

 

Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway over Boulevard Street

One westbound lane will be closed on Tuesday, June 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.

 

CR 209 bridge replacement project over Black Creek (Clay County)

Daily lane closings cannot occur between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Lanes may be closed at various times of the day, and two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers. This project should be finished in the fall of 2011.

SR 21 widening project between Old Jennings Road and Knight Boxx Road (Clay County)

No lane closings are scheduled for next week. This project is scheduled to be finished in the summer of 2011.

SR 21 at Santa Clara Avenue and Hall-Boree Road turn lane construction

One lane will be closed daily in both directions between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday, June 13 through Friday, June 17. This project should be finished this summer.

 

SR 100 resurfacing project between the Bradford and Putnam county lines (Clay County)

Single lanes will be daily between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. (Monday through Friday). Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers. This project should be completed in the late summer of 2011.  

SR 200 widening between Griffin Road and Stratton Road (Nassau County)

Single lanes may be closed daily in both directions between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at various locations within the project limits from Monday, June 13 through Friday, June 17. This project should be finished by the spring of 2012.

SR 200 resurfacing from the I-95 to the Amelia River (Nassau County)

Lanes will be closed nightly in both directions between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday, June 12 through Thursday, June 16. This project will be finished this fall.

US 1 at 5th Avenue traffic signal project in Callahan (Nassau County)

Single lanes in both directions will be regularly closed daily between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. This project should be finished in mid-June.
