Duval County School Board Hosts Community Meetings on Superintendent Search | Schools
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Duval County School Board will be talking with the community about the ongoing search for a new Superintendent.
Duval County public schools belong to the citizens of Jacksonville. As such, Duval County School Board members want extensive citizen and employee involvement in selecting the next Superintendent.
Below is a schedule of the meetings. Parents and community members are encouraged to attend to provide additional information that will help determine the qualities desired in a new Superintendent.
All meetings begin at 6 p.m. see below. Dates and locations are:
- Monday, June 18, Mandarin High, 4831 Greenland Road, Jacksonville
- Thursday, June 21, Fletcher High, 700 Seagate Ave., Neptune Beach
- Monday, June 25, Forrest High, 5530 Firestone Rd., Jacksonville
- Tuesday, June 26, Raines High, 3663 Raines Ave., Jacksonville
