Man accused of offering sexual favors to teen

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- Police arrested a man who allegedly offered sexual favors to a teenager at the Pier parking lot, located in the 500 block of 1st Street in Jacksonville Beach, according to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

Brian Keith Sayers, 45, was arrested at an Atlantic Beach residence by police in connection to the incident, according to Sgt. Tommy Crumley with JBPD.

The 14-year-old boy was walking through the parking lot when Sayers reportedly called out to the boy from inside a maroon SUV, Crumley said.

During a conversation with the teen, Sayers allegedly offered sexual favors. The boy "quickly" walked away from the suspect and was able catch a partial glimpse of the license plate tag as he sped off.

Sayers confessed to police to while he was being interviewed.

JBPD charged Sayers with lewd or lascivious conduct.
