Woman who hit pedestrian at Publix will not be charged
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- The driver who hit a woman at the Marsh Landing Publix last December will not be charged.
The driver, Judy Grimes, 50, told police she accidentally pressed the gas pedal when her foot got stuck behind the brake, hitting Pam Lagosh, 53.
The State Attorney's Office said because that could have happened, and they couldn't prove intent, they will not charge the driver.
