2nd Jax Beach shooting suspect arrested | News
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Beach Police Department announced they have arrested the second person believed to be involved in a shooting on October 15.
Sergeant Tom Bingham with the Jacksonville Beach Police Department said Vernon "Yodi" Robinson was arrested Wednesday morning.
Bingham said he is cooperating with investigators.
Police are still searching for Denard "Scooter" Robinson. Denard is wanted for attempted murder. Bingham said he is to be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
Vernon Robinson is charged with attempted murder. He is being held at the Duval County Jail and is not eligible to receive bond.
The shooting happened the night of October 15 after an argument.
Seventeen-year-old Daniel Jarrett, Vernon and Denard were arguing, when Bingham said a shooting happened. Jarrett was wounded in the arm and went to Beaches Baptist for treatment.
Also wounded in the shooting was a female bystander. The 25-year-old was taken by rescue to Shands Jacksonville in critical condition.
