JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- Jacksonville Beach Police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday night.
Sergeant Tom Bingham, Public Information Officer for the Jacksonville Beach Police Department, said the shooting happened at the intersection of 3rd Avenue South and 7th Street South at 11 p.m. Monday.
Bingham said officers found 25-year-old Iesha Mann laying in the road. Man, who is from Jacksonville Beach, had been shot. Rescue personnel transported Mann to Shands Jacksonville where Bingham said she is listed in critical condition.
While officers were en route to the original call, Bingham said police received information a 17-year-old arrived at Beaches Baptist Hospital emergency room to be treated for a gunshot wound. Bingham said the teen's injuries are not life threatening.
Police determined the two shootings are from the same incident. Bingham said the cause of the shooting, suspects or any other details are either unknown or cannot be released.
