Three Pedestrians Hit in Jax Beach, One Killed | News

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- At least three pedestrians were hit by vehicles in Jacksonville Beach this weekend, including one fatality, according to a statement from the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.
The first incident occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. Saturday night and resulted in two pedestrians being struck in the 300 block of 3rd Street North. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital and are in stable condition, according to police.
A second incident occurred early Sunday morning at around 2:45 a.m. at the 200 block of 3rd Street South where a pedestrian was struck and killed. The driver was identified and arrested for DUI manslaughter, said police.
The victims names have not been released. More details are expected to be released this week as police continue investigating.
