Library Offering Student Financial Aid Workshops | News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Library will offer four opportunities for prospective college students to learn the ins and outs of the college financial aid process.
The sessions are being offered through a partnership with the Florida Department of Education Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA).
The sessions are offered free of charge. In addition to the explanation of the financial aid process attendees will also be given tips for filling out financial aid forms, according to a release.
The four workshops will be held on the following dates:
- Monday, February 27th, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Highlands Regional Branch Library.
- Tuesday, February 28th, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Southeast Regional Branch Library.
- Wednesday, February 29th, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Pablo Creek Regional Library.
- Thursday, March 1st, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Webb Wesconnett Regional Branch Library.
The OSFA is the guarantor for the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). The office also serves as the administrator of Florida's scholarship and grant programs.
