JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Police have arrested a Walmart employee accused of stealing more than $6,000 from the store where he worked.

Jahaad Scott, 22, was investigated by store employees at the store in the 13000 block of Beach Boulevard, according to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office report. They determined he took numerous electronics from the store over a two-month period.

The report said when he was arrested he admitted to stealing four Xboxs, three Playstation 3s, four Nintendo 3S3Ds, different games, iPod shuffles and iPod Nanos.

The merchandise was valued at more than $6,000. Scott told police he would steal the items to try and make some easy money, according to JSO.

He was booked into the jail on  charges of grand theft of more than $5,000. No bond was set for Scott.
