ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. -- In their continuous efforts in the battle against childhood cancer, the Dilworth family will host their 6th Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand Grand Stand as part of the Foundation’s National Lemonade Days fundraising weekend on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 10AM – 3PM, at their home, 345 8th Street in Atlantic Beach, FL  32233. The Dilworth Family Grand Stand will be held in honor of all children and their families who have been touched by childhood cancer.

JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – Tiger cubs and local children will reap the benefits of a new grant awarded as part of Community First Credit Union’s Investing In You contest.

The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary, a nonprofit agency dedicated to big cat rescue, won a $1,000 grant from Community First Credit Union to fund a new cabin and platforms for its five tiger cubs. Catty Shack Ranch is the second of this year’s six Investing In You winners to receive $1,000 through this summer’s community improvement contest.

JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – JumpingFish, a nonprofit group that advocates for First Coast waterways through athletics, won a $1,000 grant from Community First Credit Union’s Investing in You contest to fund itsUp the River 12-Mile Swim for the St. Johnsawareness initiative. The Up the River project is the first of six winning community improvement ideas to receive $1,000 each in this summer’s contest.
