He offers Laser resurfacing of the face with the newest CO-2 fractionated device as well as many other Laser procedures including vascular birthmarks, pigmented lesions, and tattoo removal. Dr. Glassman has over twenty years experience as a board certified plastic and cosmetic surgeon. After his plastic surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins University Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, he became Chief of Plastic Surgery at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center.
As Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, he taught plastic surgery residents as well as authoring many plastic surgery articles. Currently he serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida.
I believe that performing both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery enhance each other. The experience drawn from each gives one an added perspective as to the anatomical and aesthetic goals of surgery as well as its limitations. – Dr. Dean Glassman
