UPDATE: Marjorie Snyder called First Coast News on Thursday night and said a manager at Old Navy found her lost engagement ring in a stack of clothes.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Everyone has a bad day. For Marjorie Snyder, you can say she it has been a bad year.
"I am a miracle," said Snyder.
A year ago, Snyder weighed much more than she does now and without the problems she has today.
"It has been trying," said John Snyder. "Very difficult."
While living in South Korea with her Air Force husband, Snyder had elective surgery. She said it was successful.
But seven days later she developed sepsis, a deadly bacterial infection.
"She said she wasn't feeling well and passed out," said John.
Snyder was placed in a medically-induced coma for 25 days while they treated her infection.
"I was an awful experience," she said.
