Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry Needs Your Help for the Holidays

BEAM is helping clients prepare for the upcoming holidays by offering sign-ups for Thanksgiving dinner baskets and for toys for children ages 15 and under.  BEAM’s volunteers welcome gifts of Thanksgiving baskets with non-perishable dinner items and a $10 or $15 gift card for a turkey or other main dish. Details are on BEAM’s website at www.jaxbeam.org.

In addition, BEAM needs “elves” to donate gifts and toys for children up through age 15.  Families can “adopt” a child (or a family) and shop for gifts from the lists provided by parents.  BEAM’s Adopt-a- Family form is also found on the BEAM website.

BEAM’S annual Holiday Party for Beaches Kids is scheduled for Saturday, December 4th, from 11-1, at Carver Center in Jacksonville Beach.  Church groups, school clubs, and other organizations are invited to participate in this free event for beaches children.
